Lead Software Developer
- Lead the software development team in daa Labs, responsible for the Dublin and Cork airport sites, the mobile app and other software projects across the daa group.
- Manage the developers and coordinate with DevOps, Cloud, Architecture, Security and other technical teams.
Head of Software
- Owned software development and technical infrastructure, and led a small team taking an EV charging product from prototype to a production-ready, scalable system on GCP and Kubernetes.
- Rewrote the charging-device software for remote management and monitoring, and replaced a NodeRED backend with a TypeScript API.
- Delivered Stripe payments in three months, enabling a public charging site in the US.
Director of Engineering
- Brought engineering processes into SOX compliance and passed the first internal audit without issues.
- Built a release process supporting up to three releases a day, and improved backend performance by 20%.
- Scaled A/B testing from 7 to 30+ simultaneous experiments and introduced a headless CMS.
Software Development Manager
- Built the Dublin engineering team, hiring over 30 engineers in two years with 80% retention.
